CURTIS FUNDAMENTAL SCHOOL

Challenge:

Built in 1924, the new home of Curtis Fundamental School needed a 21st century facelift, including the latest in communication and education technology.

Solution:

As a complete low-voltage integrator, BCI provided a multiple system solution incorporating fire alarm, voice and data infrastructure, zone paging, and classroom audio-visual systems.

A NOTIFIER fire alarm system ensures that students, faculty, staff, and visitors are alerted in the event of an emergency. The structured cabling system is a PANDUIT solution.

A key feature of the audio-visual system is the Video Furnace IP video on demand system – a first for a Pinellas County School. In addition, the school has a Telecor zone paging system. The teaching stations include projectors by Epson, SMART boards, AverMedia video systems and voice amplification.
